As a mom of four healthy children, I have been extremely touched by the perseverance of MSD parents to save these children with this fatal genetic disorder. These parents and volunteers have moved mountains from no hope, to advancement of gene therapies with a cure in sight.
As a board member of United MSD, I am humbled to be part of something so special and impactful as saving a child’s life. The research will not only help this rare disease but will also support research for Alzheimer’s, ALS, Parkinson’s, Dementia and Cystic Fibrosis.
